1. What is SIPerfumes.com?
SIPerfumes.com is the premier online boutique purveying the Strange Invisible Perfumes line of botanical fragrances and artisanal products developed by Alexandra Balahoutis.
2. Do you sell outside of the United States?
Yes. However, perfumes are flammable liquids and are classified as “Dangerous Goods.” As such, we must check the regulations for your country and your specific postal region to be certain that we can ship to your address. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your postal code and we will respond as quickly as possible. Once we have verified that it is fine to ship perfumes to your region, you may proceed with placing your order online or by contacting us directly. Please Note: Unfortunately, due to recent changes in Spain regarding the regulations of cosmetics, we can no longer ship any of our products to that country.
3. How do I place my first order with SIPerfumes.com?
Choose the product you wish to purchase from our collection and click on "Add to Cart." You will be taken to your shopping cart. You may then click on "Continue Shopping" to return to the collection and add more items to your cart, or you can click on "Checkout" to proceed to pay for your order. Once you proceed to checkout, you will be taken to a page where you can create an account with SIPerfumes.com. You will be asked to select a Username and Password for your account, after which you will be asked to provide your billing address, shipping address, and credit card information. Click on the "Checkout" button and you are done. You also have the option of checking out without registering for a Username and Password.
4. Do you accept returns?
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of original purchase unless otherwise noted on the product detail page. Items must be returned in pristine condition, unopened/unused, undamaged and in their original product packaging. The original shipping charge, if any, is not refundable. Any items that are damaged when we receive them are not eligible for a refund. Once items are received and approved, the return will be processed within 14 days back to the original form of payment.
Please contact us immediately for a complimentary return label at email@example.com. All returns must arrive back to us within 14 business days of the day you received your order. Please provide the following information in your email.
Please note: Our botanical perfumes are sensitive to heat and direct sunlight. Never leave them in a hot car. Always handle our fragrances with care and store them in a cool, dry place so that they arrive back to us in the same condition that you received them. Please allow up to 14 business days for processing once we have received your return.

5. Will I be charged sales tax?
We must charge sales tax on all products shipped to a California address at the current tax rate. Products shipped outside of California are not charged sales tax.
6. Shipping & Handling Rates and Policies?
A. We ship all orders containing at least one full-size product via Fedex. Orders containing only samples offer USPS Priority Mail as an option. B. Orders generally ship out within a week. C. Shipping & Handling rates are based on the weight of the package, where it is being shipped, and the desired speed of delivery. D. All extra shipping charges for international orders, including customs and tariffs, are the responsibility of the customer.
7. Is the color I see on my screen the real color of the product?
The colors that you actually see on your screen will depend on the calibration of your monitor. We cannot guarantee that the display on your monitor will be accurate. Please note, too, that our products are handcrafted from natural ingredients and as such there may be variations in color from what is pictured on the website.
8. Do you have all the products shown on the Web site in stock?
We carry all of our items in stock at all times, if possible. If due to high demand, an item is temporarily unavailable, the delivery delay will usually not exceed several days for most items. If any of the items you order are out of stock we will contact you, and you may at that time request a credit for the out of stock items or have them placed on backorder. Backordered items may be subject to additional shipping charges if sent in a separate shipment. We will alert you if an unexpected delay occurs. Please plan in advance whenever possible and please bear in mind that our products are shipping from Los Angeles, California, and are handcrafted in small batches -- factors that can affect availability.
9. How do your products compare to other similar products available on the market?
We feel our products are superior in many ways to most other fragrance products available. We are proud of the quality and presentation of our collection. All Strange Invisible Perfumes are designed, decanted, and bottled within our own botanical fragrance house based in Venice, California. They are made with certified organic, wildcrafted, biodynamic, and hydro-distilled essences obtained directly from trusted distillers. Limited batches are then reverently hand-blended, set into a base of custom-distilled esprit de Cognac, and aged for a minimum of six months. 10. Can I ship to multiple addresses?
You may order online and have the order shipped to an address different than your billing address, but if you would like to have parts of an order shipped to separate addresses, please email us at email@example.com.
11. Which mail carrier do you use?
We ship all orders containing at least one full-size product via Fedex. Orders containing only samples offer USPS Priority Mail as an option.
12. Are all parcels insured?
The full value of your order is insured, and we require signatures for packages containing at least one full-size product. Packages containing samples only will not require a signature for delivery. If you would like the package to be left at your door without a signature, please indicate this preference by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that we are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items if you have waived the signature request.
13. Is purchasing online with a credit card safe?
Yes. Orders and personal information are encrypted using Secure Socket Layering (SSL) so your privacy is always protected. Additionally, your credit card transactions on our website are processed by Authorize.net - one of the most trusted names in the payments industry.
14. Do you sell samples?
Yes, we do sell individual samples of all perfume. Please email email@example.com for further assistance.
15. How can I receive wholesale information?

16. My order was damaged in shipping. What should I do?
Always inspect your package as soon as it is received. If items are damaged, you MUST report the problem to the carrier (FedEx or USPS) within 48 hours. Please inform our shipping department as well by emailing email@example.com, so that replacement arrangements can be made, if necessary.
17. What is the Coupon/Gift Certificate Code field for when checking out?
If you have received a discount or promotional code, please enter it in this field. Your discount will be computed on your order total before tax and shipping is applied, and will show on your invoice as a separate line item. You must enter the code each time you place an order to receive the discount on that order.
